You know, my friend Julie is a wonderful person. She’s starting a project in Pittsburgh called Here You Go where, on rainy days, volunteers hand out umbrellas to unsuspecting folks who, for whatever reason, don’t have one.

Each umbrella has a postcard attached to it with a message gently nudging the recipient to, in turn, do something kind for someone else.

I mean, what the fuck, right? Something nice. How cool would it be to fund a clandestine guerilla force bent on spreading kindness? Very cool. That’s how cool.
